Up, Up, & Away!
When clients first connect in our support groups, they are welcomed into our loving community of people who understand and honor grief. However, these connections often continue to grow and extend far beyond the walls (or should we say Zoom windows) of The Healing Center.
Recently, one Healing Center group decided to plan some in-person gatherings separate from their regular Zoom group meetings. Not content with simply meeting for coffee each month, they planned a group hot air balloon ride!

Club Wid Event Thursday, December 7th!
Club Wid (a social club for widowed people Gen X and younger) is hosting their 3rd annual holiday mini-golf meetup at Flatstick Pub Pioneer Square on Thursday, December 7th from 6:30-8 pm.
Tee time is 7 pm ($10 to play) and the pub hosts trivia night 8 pm, which is optional. This event is open to non-members who would like to connect with community this holiday season. 21+ only, dogs welcome.

Holiday Office Closure & Group Schedule Changes
Our front office will be closed for the holidays from December 25th to January 8th. During this time, intake scheduling will be paused.
Groups will meet according to the altered schedules below.
Adult Groups Scheduling:
- 12/25 – Young Adult Cohort 1 – Canceled
- 12/26 – Young Adult Cohort 3 – Canceled
- 12/26 – Memory Keepers Cohort 3 – 10am
- 12/27 – Early Group Cohort 2 – 6:30pm
- 12/28 – Young Adult Cohort 2 – Canceled
- 12/28 – Memory Keepers Cohort 2 – 10am
- 1/2 – SOS Group – 6:30pm
- 1/3 – Early Group Cohort 1 – 6:30pm
- 1/4 – Memory Keepers Cohort 1 – 10am
- 1/6 – Early Group Cohort 3 – 10am
- 1/8 – Transitions – 6:30pm
Children’s Group Scheduling
In observance of the school holidays, all kids’ groups will be taking a break from 12/15 until 1/8. The following is the schedule for the first groups after the break:
- 1/9 – Healing Club 456 – 4:30pm
- 1/10 – Littles Group – 4:30pm
- 1/15 – Teen Group 2 – 6pm
- 1/16 – Teen Group 1 – 6pm
- 1/17 – Healing Club 123 – 4:30pm
- 1/18 – THC Kids South – 4:30pm
