Learn more about our programs

The Healing Center is a non-profit organization that provides grief support.  We make a space for people to meet, share, and grow with others who have experienced loss. We believe that humans heal in connection to one another, and we offer community to those who have lost a loved one through support groups, social events, and resources.

We do not currently offer individual or family counseling services. For a list of individual therapists who specialize in grief and loss, please visit the Grief Support Resources Page or contact our office.

Before joining a group, we ask clients to complete a brief, 30-minute intake via Zoom. This initial conversation serves as an opportunity for us to learn more about you and your story, as well as for you to learn more about The Healing Center.

To schedule an intake, fill out our online intake form by clicking Get Started or calling our office at (206) 523-1206.

We are proud to provide all services free of charge.

As a non-profit organization, we rely on individual donations to support our work, keeping The Healing Center cost-free and accessible to all.

The Healing Center does not bill or accept any insurance plans.

As a small non-profit, we try our best to offer a wide variety of support with the limited funding available to us. However, we recognize that we do not have programs for every griever.

As we continue to work towards adding more programs, we invite you to reach out to us. Your feedback helps us to prioritize adding services that are most needed in our community.

For information about other options for support, please visit the Grief Support Resources Page.

At this time, all children’s programming takes place in-person while all adult programming takes place virtually via Zoom.

Providing adult groups virtually allows our programming to be accessible and convenient to as many people as possible. To ensure clients are still able to connect, we host additional, in-person, community events.

Absolutely not. Clients can live anywhere in Washington State.
