Danke Schon for Raising a Stein at Oktoberfest!

Jenette, Mattie, Rita & Aubrey at Octoberfest 2013

Cheers to you!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who took part in The Healing Center’s Oktoberfest!

Thank you to our brilliant volunteers, whose work made the Oktoberfest come to life for one night at Georgetown Brewing Company.  Special thanks to Aubrey Lund, who not only shared her story at Oktoberfest, but also helped greet guests, pass pretzels, and get everything cleared up at the end of the night – you are a volunteer superstar!

Thank you to our event sponsors, and to everyone who donated even though they couldn’t attend, for being so generous in supporting The Healing Center.  Our thanks to Chris Navarra of Feierabend for providing delicious food, friendly bar staff and the beautiful Oktoberfest decor, and to Manny Chao at Georgetown Brewing Company for lending us the use of their space and for donating their tasty beer. We couldn’t have done this event without you both!

Thank you most of all to our guests. You put the “oom-pa-pa” in Oktoberfest, and thanks to you we were able to raise over $47,000 to expand our children’s programs. Danke schon from the bottom of our hearts.
